Huntsville Aviation has chosen the well-regarded Cessna as our plane of choice. The Cessna's ever standing reputation of reliable, safe, long-lasting planes has made it the industry standard for flight instruction and fleet services. We are very proud of our four plane fleet made of up a C-152, one C-172, and one C-177 Cardinal. The C-152's are the primary plane for pilot flight instruction as detailed below. The C-172 , the work-horse, is well equipped for longer flights, charter flights, and used in aerial photography and banner advertising. The Cardinal C-177 is best used for long flights where comfort and speed are necessities. Each of our aircraft is listed and detailed below. Cessna C-152

The Cessna 152 is the aircraft of choice for instruction. Although the smallest in our fleet, it is the most cost-effecient for the student, the most reliable, and most time-proven aircraft in the industry. This 2-seater is best used for short flights and training. Our Cessna 152 rents for $53 per hour plus tax.

Students find this to be the easiest of our fleet to fly. The plane is light and agile making it a great "good weather" aircraft. Being IFR makes it a very cost-effective means of obtaining the ever important "Instrument Certificate".


Cessna C-172

Our Cessna 172 is a well equipped 4-seater outfitted with extended range fuel tanks. The "Skyhawk"is used in most charter flights, banner advertising, aerial photography, and "explorer" flights.

The 172 is noticeably heavier than the 150 and therefore takes a little more effort to fly and land, but smoother on the windy days. The Cessna 172 Skyhawk rents for $72 per hour plus tax.


Cessna C-177

The Cessna 177 is the most "pleasurable" of our fleet. The 177, while very similar in size and design to the 172, has the largest engine, most comfortable cockpit, and best suited for cross-country flights.

our 177 is fully IFR equipped and ready for wherever your plans may take you. The Cessna 177 can be rented for $81 per hour plus tax.
